He has an engineering degree from MIT and has spent 16 years working within industry and ten as an organizational developer and breakthrough specialist.

He is presently expanding New World Consulting offers for Latin America. One program, the Cultural Breakthrough program, begins with a radical shift in awareness and possibility within a company's macro-paradigm, then facilitates the redesign of the their internal human and technical processes to support continuous breakthrough and the achievement of unprecedented results.

While working as an independent contractor with Hewitt Associates (1997-2000), his clients included companies in Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela. In Panama, he led a culture change and organizational redesign intervention with the Panama Canal Commission, supporting the transition from a US Government bureaucracy to a profit making enterprise. He instituted a learning organization context and utilized a process improvement methodology to have change occur throughout the various departments. He extensively used one-on-one coaching to impact people's mindsets and behavior while supported them in internalizing new skills and ways of interacting.

From 1992 to 1997, Carlos led numerous seminars on diverse subjects such as leadership, teambuilding, process facilitation and languaging skills. He also led various three to five day "Intensives" devoted to radical, high impact interventions and "openings" for organizational change. His work with personal vision and empowerment led many companies to re-think what is possible for them and ways they could function more effectively.

As Director of Corporate Quality (1990-1992) for an electronic component supplier he designed and implemented a Total Quality program involving extensive integration of the quality function across three countries. His fourteen years with Digital Equipment Corp. (1977-1990) included creation and management of quality improvement teams as well as extensive group facilitation. Carlos' uniqueness comes in part from his developmental path. As an engineer from MIT, he learned and applied highly technical skills. Once he began his transformational development (Est, Insight, Lifespring, Meta-physicsÖ) his whole life took a turn towards the powerful yet unseen world within and the movement of people beyond what they thought was possible. His 17 years as a manager gave him a direct dose of the "reality" many managers live. His ten years as an organizational consultant have brought him into such diverse fields as Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Banking, Electronics, Insurance, Hospitals, Professional Services and Government.
